Remember yesterday when I was jumping for joy because of all the new products I got?? Yeah, I haven’t stopped yet.
I did a little vote on Instagram and Facebook (if you don’t follow us then PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go do it. There are links all over our page 🙂 ) Anywho, Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask won for the first product review.
Let me tell ya, I was super nervous about trying this, number one because the directions aren’t in English, and number two because a lot of people have said that the product makes you itch like crazy.
I went and opened the packaging and found this:
I was happy that they included a spatula to help put the mask on evenly, but I was really worried about the product because it is a lot more gloopy (is that even a word?) than any of the other mud masks that I’ve used.
I started with a dirty after gym face, because it says not to clean your face prior to using. This is really important if you want a lot of bubbles, if there’s no dirt on your face then you won’t see much action. I was immediately pleased by how well it went on and how quickly the mask dried.
The first picture was taken immediately after applying. See the color change from the dark gray to the almost white color? The second picture was taken approximately 30 seconds after the first. Look at the bubbles starting to form!!!!
Not even two minutes later, I looked like something straight out of a horror movie. The mask didn’t itch, but as the bubbles formed it did have a very slight tingle. But, the tingle was hardly even noticeable… Maybe because of how hard my husband and I were laughing at my monsterly good looks.
Okay, you can stop laughing now 🙂
After 5 short minutes, you are supposed to massage the bubbles all over your face to break down the dirt. It should look something like this:
I kept the mask on for 5 more minutes even though it says to rinse after massaging. But, I’m a rule breaker. It bubbled up a bit more and then afterward I just jumped in the shower to clean it off since it’s kind of a messy mask.
I LOVED this mask. Not only was it super fun, but also it is the quickest mask I’ve ever used. Most masks ask that you keep it on for 15-20 minutes while it dries where this one can be done in 5 minutes. Most importantly, my face felt so incredibly smooth and tight. I can’t stop touching my face (big no-no I know.) This mask worked wonders, I’m not sure what it was actually supposed to do… Because again, it’s not in English. But, I’m super happy with the results.
The mask costs $38.00 on the companies facebook page… Don’t buy from there.
They offer it on Amazon for $10.80.
Thank me later!
If you end up purchasing this mask, take the silliest pictures you can and post it in the comments 🙂
