Birthday Goodies Haul

My birthday is right around the corner, so this birthday girl got as she wished. There’s nothing I love more than seeing a big pile of new goodies. So I thought I’d share them with you guys; let’s get started!

The most exciting birthday gift that I received was the Limited-edition Mother Nature’s Miracles Discovery Set. This set is perfect in so many ways. I think it’s a beauty steal even though its travel size products only. But I mean, you get SEVEN products for only 38 dollars! All of the product in this set are products that I have been wanting to try out so I knew that I had to get my hands on this. Here’s an overview of all the products that are included in this set.

The first product that you see is a single set of pack your bags 911 under-eye rescue patches. I’ve really been wanting to try these because a couple of beauty gurus that I watch say they’re good. Plus, I have pretty bad under eyes. So hopefully I can see a difference with just one use.

The second product that you see is a travel size maracuja oil. I love putting oils on my face so I’m excited to try this oil out. The description of this oil alone sells the product to me:  rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin C for firmer, brighter, smoother skin; helps promote active skin recovery and rejuvenation while delivering maximum hydration. That’s everything I want for my skin.

The third product is the travel size deep dive cleansing gel. This hypoallergenic face wash removes excess oil, impurities, and all traces of waterproof makeup without overdrying skin. I love the whole collection of the Rainforest of the Sea, so I have a feeling that this cleansing gel is going to be good. The Rainforest of the Sea collection is all about hydration, which is everything that my skin needs.

The fourth product that you see is the travel size 4-in-1 setting mist. Another collection of the Rainforest of the Sea, so I’m excited to use this to see how it works!

The fifth product is the deluxe lights, camera, lashes™ 4-in-1 mascara. It’s a lengthening, curling, volumizing, and conditioning mascara infused with olive esters to condition, treat, and protect lashes. I heard many people rave about this mascara, so I am hoping I like this as much as they did.

The sixth product had me super excited for this set. It is the deluxe color splash hydrating lipstick in island life (rosy mauve). The packaging of these lipsticks is absolutely gorgeous! I want to own every single shade of this lipstick just to put on display because of the beauty. The shade that is included with this set happened to be one of my go-to colors so it was a win for me!

The last product of this set, but most certainly not least, is the deluxe Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in feisty (rose). This color is so perfect for an everyday blush. I haven’t ever used this blush before so I’m curious of how well it will actually last on my face.

YOU GUYS NEED TO BUY THIS SET! It has so many great products included. I can’t wait to use them all!

Alright, let’s move on to the next thing that I put in my shopping cart that I have been dying to try. It is the clay stick foundation. This foundation claims that it’s supposed to be matte. However, I’ve watched reviews of this foundation and it gave them a gorgeous luminous look, with full coverage. The way it looked on their skin is what I hope for. I am definitely going to be doing a review of this foundation, so be on the look out!

The next product that I got was a repurchase. I forgot how much I was in love with this product until I recently started using it again, and used it all up. It is the aquacealer concealer. This concealer is lightweight but does the job to cover my dark circles. I love it!

That sums up my birthday goodies from my lovely mother. But I’m still not done. I thought I would add in the three drugstore products that I purchased as well.

The first two things that I will mention are repurchases as well. The first one is the SuperStay Better Skin Concealer. If you need an affordable concealer then this is the one. I promise you that you won’t want anything else! The second repurchase is the Milani MAKE IT LAST Makeup Setting Spray. This is another drugstore must have. This setting spray is magical. There’s nothing more to say other than to go buy them now!

My final purchase was not the best product I have used. Like I have mentioned before, I love a luminous look. I am running low on my L’Oreal Paris Magic Lumi Primer so I was trying to find a different primer that would be similar to this one. So when I saw the PRIME LIGHT STROBING + PORE-MINIMIZING FACE PRIMER , I thought that this might be good. Every product that I have used from Milani before has always been great. However, this one is not my favorite. I have only used it one time, but it doesn’t give me a glow like the L’Oreal Lumi Primer. The Milani primer had small glitters in it which I did not enjoy at all, nor did it fill in my pores. I am going to try it again, but I am going to shake it up before applying and maybe that will help.

Woahhhh, this post is a lot longer than I anticipated. I hope you guys made it ’til the end. I just find myself elaborating a lot on these products because I want you guys to know what they are and why I have purchased them & why you should! If any of you have tried these products out yet, then let me know how they worked for you! I would love to know. That’s all I have for you guys today!

I’ve tried the Urban Decay one as well, but Im a sucker for cheaper prices. So I’ve been sticking with the Milani one. You should definitely try it out!
